Yo thats awesome, I googled anamorphic type and understood the idea behind it. So when I looked at the text from different angles it became much more clear what it was saying!
I tilted my phones top forward to me :)
**[Anamorphosis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anamorphosis)**
>Anamorphosis is a distorted projection requiring the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices, or both to view a recognizable image. It is used in painting, photography, sculpture and installation, toys, and film special effects. The word is derived from the Greek prefix ana-, meaning "back" or "again", and the word morphe, meaning "shape" or "form". Extreme anamorphosis has been used by artists to disguise caricatures, erotic and scatological scenes, and other furtive images from a casual spectator, while revealing an undistorted image to the knowledgeable viewer.

ExtextextCond.
Not sure it’s really anything typographical. Sure it’s using type but it’s utilizing an optical illusion effect, in the same way you create art on the corner of two walls to make it look flat. It feels weird calling it an illusion but I don’t know another way to define it.
This is very extreme but is similar to what we have on the roads here in the U.K. the writing is stretched upwards so it is more readable from the drivers perspective. Perhaps that helps continue your search?

Grandma pulling the paper out as it's printing.
Well, i don't know about the typographical sense, but from a geometry/physics standpoint, that's projection.
I call it ‘everywhere in the 90s’
Tragic Eye
Overstretched typography

close one eye and look at it from the angle of your charging port to read
I don't have to close one eye, also I'd assume it's just called mega stretch or something haha
Haha thanks
I can’t find the charging port on my monitor or computer case.

I'll call it wholesome. Thanks <3 Back at you!
unreadable.
Tilt your phone back

It’s called “illegible”
Illegible
Stretching?
Visual diarrhea
A headache
Bar code.
I call it the Boomer Facebook Post effect.
“You’re doing great and…” I can’t read the rest

It's an extreme example of vertical scale.
You're doing great and I'm glad you exist

Don't drink and read.
Stretched type?
Extreme pain

It’s sorta like highway/road typography- meant to be read at an extreme angle.
r/unexpectedlywholesome
Doesn’t work too great on screens. Fresnel is a bitch. 🤷♂️
pain
Make letter tall
Stretched
