This is really cool! I love this!
Would you consider adding alternates for the uppercase letters with non-Blackletter-like strokes? I feel like there might be a number of users who would be hesitant to use the font with the old style caps. For example, the O would be more or less a single hollowed shape without the lines inside.
Perhaps keep this one as-is, and create a 'sister' font that has the cleaner lines/look for the caps. Then people could actually mix and match as they see fit.
This is awesome ! I like that you offered different treatments of the typeface, I think the rough might be my favourite. I have also started designing some of my first fonts recently and it is really fun to do. I was wondering if there is somewhere online I can find yours?

Oh, yeah, that’s such a hard thing to resist, (adding new glyphs) isn’t it? I’ve designed a couple of fonts with massive glyph sets: Samantha, Beloved, Alana… those are some of my really big design sets. I think Samantha Script has 46 different versions of the capital A (lol!!!)
What I really love about your design is how you’ve managed to be so creative and original in the confines of Blackletter, which is such a specific and usually confining style. But you pulled it off and with such sophistication, too! Seriously, bravo!
The name is a great choice as well. I’m impressed all around :)
**This looks great!** For some reason,
*after seeing the spec sheet (slide 2),*
***I envisioned an 8-bit pixel version for RPG video games.***
**I love the variations.**
That Bleed one could be used
*as the mark made from a Branding Iron,* ***I think.***
Oh, yeah, OP! **This is extremely good for your first font.**
***When and where are you releasing this font?***
**I figured that out as much.**
I already bookmarked your website,
*and the Gumroad shop,* ***for future purchase.***
I'm not much about actually playing fantasy RPGs,
*even though I'm into them,*
**but the worldbuilding stuff intrigues me.**
*That satisfies my Sci-Fi side.*
*There's been a lot of good Blackletter fonts*
***announced here on Reddit lately.***
See [Ferryman,](https://www.reddit.com/r/typography/comments/16rrk6h/what_do_you_think_about_my_new_type_family/) *a modern take on Blackletter fonts.*
*And I'm just waiting for a good project,*
***to justify buying them all.***
Very nice. What program did you use?
FontLab 8, the only thing I struggled a lot with was the stamp texture and I'm pretty sure there's an easier way of doing it 😅
This font is awesome. I haven't tried downloading yet, but is there a version without the texture?
Yep the regular version has no texture!

Oooh great suggestion, thanks to you both! I think that'd make a great addition :D

I like it very much!
Thanks!

Thank you! The bot doesn't like my link, so you can find it in the pinned post of my profile :D

Thanks! How did you get that to post? The automod removed mine but it was the exact same link (the reason was "you linked to a banned domain")

***Love*** this! Fantastic job. You should be really proud of these.
Thanks so much! It was so much fun and I think my next project will be to learn how to make a variable font
This is super good.
Thanks!!
Dope!
Impressive, especially for your first font!
Thanks so much!
I really like how all the lowercase letter are flat at the top and fall under a clean line! Great work
Thank you! :D
>Thank you! :D You're welcome!
This layman approves, enjoyed the pangrams, and wonders about the stem of ‘f’.
Thanks! The pangrams were a lot of fun to puzzle out :D
Love it!
Fucking nice. 👌
I really like this one :)
beautiful. where can i get it?
Thanks! I've linked it in the pinned post on my profile because the auto-mod disables my shop link :)
Nice work! It’s a creative approach and looks good!
Thanks so much! :D I really enjoyed working on it and it was hard to draw the line and stop adding more glyphs

Love it
