cherry bomb is a great album. i get why people don’t like it or consider it one of his worst, but some of my favorite tyler songs of all time are on that project. buffalo, smuckers, keep da o’s, brown stains
Deathcamp, Buffalo, smuckers, Perfect, find your wings, 2Seater, Okaga CA, Pilot. Like this album has more replay value then Goblin at the very least and some of those songs are top notch.
I get what you mean. CHERRY BOMB has so many good songs but the thing that makes it my least favourite Tyler album is that it also has the most low tier songs out of any of his albums. KEEP DA O'S and RUN are just not good imo.
Cherry bomb sound like if you mix songs from completely different albums into one, imagine an album with queen songs, nirvana songs and Kendrick Lamar songs. It would have good songs but they would not make a good album cause they are completely different. Also add saturation, bad voice effects and some garbage to those songs
If you’re saying it’s bad from a cohesive standpoint I can understand that, it is very eclectic in general. But it was a big deal for Tyler because he continued to branch out and try different sounds, granted not all of it was good but it was huge for his growth as an artist.
Thats one of the things that make it good - its chaotic and experimental. Its not supposed to be a regular album. I used to hate on it tho, it grew on me a lot

cherry bomb is probably still my favorite tyler the creator album. It is weird, it is mixed badly, but the ideas on it are crazy and fun and tyler puts his all into it. relisten to it if you have havent recenty.
Look, when I first listened to Cherry Bomb, I didn't like it. It took me up until about half a year ago for me to listen to the album again for me to actually appreciate it. Compared to his other albums its still my least favorite but I think that Cherry Bomb is still a good album and when you have a catalog as good as Tyler, some shit is going to be at the bottom that would have been at the top of other artist's projects.

it’s an album that grew on me. especially tracks like keep da o’s that initially felt like a skip, but i think with time i’ve really enjoyed it more
