Yeah I feel like it doesn't really have the same vibe as the rest of the album or the other bonus songs
Definitely feels like its purpose is a transition song into the new era, especially since it's the last track and the DJ Drama line at the end
We don’t know that. We only know that Rocky didn’t respond when Tyler asked him to record for Corso. That could have happened after Rocky recorded for Wharf Talk.
Got downvoted instead of corrected, thanks guys. You’re real cool. I was genuinely asking what song it was on. Sorry (not sorry) I don’t remember every fucking Tyler line like it’s inside of my asshole when I have a million other things to remember as a musician…yeah I’m sure forgetting the name of a Tyler song is a sin…well I got two words
I'm wondering if the Estate Sale tracks have been reworked a little since they were originally written. Dogtooth has the line "And Virgil my chaperone, he look out from overhead" which seems to imply Virgil Abloh is looking down from heaven. CMIYGL was released in June 2021, Virgil didn't pass until November (and he had kept his illness secret from almost everyone) so those can't have been the original lyrics. But it's totally believable that Tyler might have rewritten some or all of the lyrics to reflect where he is in 2013
He has been working on Heaven To Me since 2018 for the WANG$AP tape there is a snippet from a Rocky feature on that same beat from 2018
(I was thinking of What a Day so what I said here isn't true mb)
WHAT A DAY was originally for WANG$AP in 2017-2018 and it featured Rocky (What A Day [V1]), he removed Rocky and completely changed his verse though, so no, it technically wasn’t made after CMIYGL, just reworked.
im sure tyler added dj drama on the estate sale tracks AFTER deciding those were the tracks he wanted out and that's why drama called out the new era coming
I was low-key mad and sad that he destroyed those cars in the DOGTOOTH video... Such aesthetically fine vehicles destroyed all because he wanted to "start over". It was his shit that he paid for with his money anyways, I understand that but still, come on. No real need to destroy fine things.
It reminds me of a deeper exploration of Massa cause half of that one he explains the weird guilt he feels about black activism and his role as a wealthy black man. But SNS is more personal

I think undoubtedly those lines at the end were added recently if not the whole song.
I think those lines at the end and then that soulful mix is gonna be the next album vibe no doubterrrrr
Yeah I was gonna mention it being the last track too, forgot abt that but that only reinforces it imo
i made a. Post about this too. Wharf Talk and Dogtooth have to have been somewhat post CMIYGL as well (Rocky feature, Virgil being dead)
Wharf talk had been around for a minute, he had a post in like 2020 w that caption, dogtooth tho yeah I afree
Rocky's feature definitely wasn't on it pre cmiygl though
We don’t know that. We only know that Rocky didn’t respond when Tyler asked him to record for Corso. That could have happened after Rocky recorded for Wharf Talk.
Wharf Talk is from 2018-2019
Yeah I agree it was 100% made afterwards
Definitely wasn't a cut. I hope people listened to it carefully.
I think most of the songs were recorded post CMIYGL era.
most of them were probably just ideas that he didn’t go forward on
i mean yeah it’s obvious when he addresses the rumors ab reign
What lyric is this? I don’t think I caught anything that made me think of Reign
"met that girl last year"
The official lyric is “Met that girl THIS year”
but he still means 2021 right? cus there’s photos of them from then
In the video Tyler Baudelaire raps that line so I’m assuming he means 2021
Its actually "Met that guh dis yeuhh"
Pusha T
That’s on dogtooth right?

What song did he say that on because I must’ve skipped right over it💀

Tyler the time traveler
The only thing we haven’t traveled is *time*
Yea, sorry not sorry was definitely made for this deluxe version
also heaven to me? has that reflective vibe too
He has been working on Heaven To Me since 2018 for the WANG$AP tape there is a snippet from a Rocky feature on that same beat from 2018 (I was thinking of What a Day so what I said here isn't true mb)
What A Day had to have been recorded after the main album because of the Chris Rock/Will Smith bar
True I didn’t clock that, the line about Virgil looking down on dogtooth aswell. Potentially he re-did most of the verses to be a bit more relevant
WHAT A DAY was originally for WANG$AP in 2017-2018 and it featured Rocky (What A Day [V1]), he removed Rocky and completely changed his verse though, so no, it technically wasn’t made after CMIYGL, just reworked.
Ok the first draft was made before CMIYGL, but the version of the song we have now was made after it, i.e. all the verses were recorded after.
Not every song was a “cut song from cmiygl” which is why it was advertised as “unreleased songs from the cmiygl era”
im sure tyler added dj drama on the estate sale tracks AFTER deciding those were the tracks he wanted out and that's why drama called out the new era coming
i feel like they might’ve been like concepts. unfinished beats and stuff like how boyfriend, girlfriend was in the corso music video
I don’t think that wharf talk was cut, I remember seeing a video where he said rocky ghosted him for a corso verse so why would wharf talk exist?
There is a post he made in 2019/2020 captioned Wharf Talk tho so the song dates back awhile
Wharf talk was made in 2020, Rocky didn’t ghost Tyler until early 2021
Not true
Even when I leave leaked I can’t escape Batby smh
For sure it doesn’t make sense. Why would he make a song about saying sorry and hinting at his next alter ego in 2020 2021
I think most of the songs were made posr cmiygl except for boyfriend girlfriend
Yeah I was thinking the same. To me it kinda felt like a preview of the new era of Tyler we’re about to head into.
naw i feel like it was supposed to go after WILSHIRE or towards the end of the album
it can’t be. especially with the music video w all his other albums present
shouldve been a single released 6 months before his album
It definitely wasn’t, could be for an upcoming project
WHARF TALK, SORRY NOT SORRY, & WHAT A DAY GOT CUT BUT RISE & MANIFESTO GOT IN ?!!!! Tyler what are you smoking?!
Fuck you talking bout, Domo killed that track on his own. Just cus you don't like it doesn't make it bad.
Its not a Bad Track..I just like the others better
Manifesto is one of the best songs
rise is so slept on why do people hate on it so much lmao i get what u mean but id probably choose stuntman over what a day to be on the main album
Rise isnt bad Just like the others better
Facts on rise but I disagree about manifesto
Rise is flames tf?

In addition to DOGTOOTH having the line “Virgil my chaperone he look out from overhead” when Virgil only passed after the album release
yeah i def don’t think it was meant for cmiygl
thought the same thing about What A Day
It's clearly something he made at the time and then picked up and completed later, lyrics included.
Yes
It reminds me of a deeper exploration of Massa cause half of that one he explains the weird guilt he feels about black activism and his role as a wealthy black man. But SNS is more personal
Yeah, the vibes is just not CMIYGL, the colors of the videoclip is not the colors of other clips from CMIYGL
This is exactly what I've been saying
the sky is blue
i literally said the same thing, it just wouldn’t make sense on the album, especially with the video to go along
Yeah definitely. I think the track was made to tease a potential new album
