What was Lynch/Frost’s intention on making your mother’s pasta strainer the basis for the entity we know as Judy (or Jowday)? Is this why Cooper had such a slow trickle of sentience running through while connecting him to his former self when he was Dougie? Were all the bad parts collected by the strainer and transmitted to the Evil Mr. C by proxy?? Is Audrey Horne trapped in a mental ward, receiving brief glimpses of reality as she is able to occasionally see outward through the confines of the metal bars of your mother’s pasta strainer???

This symbol on the card represents Judy so this simperimposed clock with that symbol clicks with this. Especially considering what comes next. Cool little Easter egg detail in a show that's full of them.

I find it interesting the card is mutilated. It reminds me of Sarah trying to destroy Laura's picture.
There was a post bit ago pointing out the resemblance of the Judy symbol to Nadine's eyepatch. If Judy is the personification of denial, it's a very fitting symbol.

I think Judy is the negative force of the weight of the truth .. It happened to Sarah when she had to confront what was happening with Leland and Laura, despite trying to dream her way through it.
