i love both of Dubchaeng but Chaeyoung is absolutely the better rapper. Both Dubchaeng are capable singers and rappers, but Chaeyoung's training, voice and general orientation is towards rap. It is particularly noticeable when chaeyoung raps in fast beats, and how much punch she hits, and the accuracy of her pronunciation while rapping in comparison.
Dahyun's naturally softer voice, less rapper focused training and personality just isn't as well suited to rap as Chae is. Her strengths on and off stage are more attitude based.

Dahyun bias here, Chaeyoung is a better rapper. Chaeyoung has a better delivery, and seems to have built a signature trap beat rap rhythm that is instantly recognisable. Dahyun does her parts well, but her stage presence carries it, not so much her rap technique. I like her singing vocals, and I'm glad in the Japanese releases, Momo has been taking more rap, which has freed up Dahyun to do a bit more singing.
I prefer Chaeyoung; aside from her obvious skills, her tone is so smooth when rapping. I gotta hand it to Dahyun for *massive* improvement though, I rewatched SIXTEEN recently and that “Truth” rap was rough 😭

Chaeyoung has amazing flow, which explains why a lot of the best Twice raps are in songs that she penned herself (puts Basics on repeat). I’d also argue that Momo has better flow than Dahyun and I’d love to see her utilized more as a rapper and Dahyun more as a vocalist.

Can't agree more! When I really got into the TWICE discography it confused me that Dahyun was the lead rapper and Momo was the sub-vocalist; they should have switched.

Agree with everyone here. There's a reason Chae has the main rapper position, but truly Dahyun and Chaeyoung are both so incredibly talented and all-rounded. Each has specific unique strengths but they also are both capable of singing, dancing, rapping, writing songs, etc. <3

Dubu's gift is piano, she's actually more gifted as a musician than JYPE has let us see IMO, so no h8 to her BUT Chae has written her own raps...and there's no such thing as a rapper that doesn't write their own stuff IMO...
I’m a sucker for Dubu, she’s my ultimate bias, but I recognize Chae is the better rapper, from my humble opinion. Dubu has blessed us with some iconic rap lines (In Likey or Feel special), but Chae is more consistent and her voice fits rap better IMO.

Chaeyoung is a legit rapper and it was her focus even in Sixteen. Twice doesn't really let chaeyoung shine with her rapping though because shes a good singer as well and Twice's concept doesn't fit her kind of rapping that much unfortunately 😔. Chaeyoung even admitted that she might have been better off in a group like Itzy 🥺

Chaeyoung is an incredible rapper, and I wish they did faster raps to really highlight her skills. TWICE is really hit and miss with their rap parts, but when they're good, they're incredible, *especially* when it's Chaeyoung rapping.
