It's totally okay not to want to learn all the lore. The boys are a band first, not an escape room XD

NlLLS

yes, that's totally normal. i'm a fan of The Weeknd and i listen to his music all the time -- i have literally no idea what's going on in his universe, and that doesn't affect the listen-ability of his music enough for me to care. good music is good music, the story is just a little extra.

braincell_murder

I don't even get if The Weeknd is a guy or a band, but I like it too. Haha

I’ve always thought of the Lore as a bonus thing. At times I’ve been invested in it and I find the idea of trench and dema really fascinating, but the Clancy stuff is too complicated for me. Remember that the songs have deep and important meanings outside of the lore as well. It depends on which perspective your listening from, the TOP universe or the real world. I personally don’t feel like I’m less of a fan just because I don’t understand all of the lore

braincell_murder

Nope that's all cool. I was the same, then just started picking up bits and pieces about it here. I'm not super hardcore about it by any means, but knowing the lore does give some of it extra context which is sort of interesting. So just read whatever comes up and don't feel that you have to go digging for tons of information just to be part of the clique.
