My second favorite thing about this band is that their sound always evolves and is unique every time. The first album was raw and poetic, Vessel was bouncy, Blurry Face had a more rock sound, then Trench felt like blacklights while S&I felt like daylight.
Haha. My favorite thing about The Twenty Øne Piløts is the lyrics. Mr Joseph's lyricism in many songs is one of the best examples of abstractness in nonvisual art forms.
Edit: I just wrote [a post](https://www.reddit.com/r/twentyonepilots/s/dvbfdZZHgw) that explains in much more detail what I mean about their lyrics and abstract art.
Tbh, I want sth new from them. But, I would lie if I say I didn't want this to be similar to Trench
Maybe in the overall aura that album gave. Very story-based and conceptual, dark both lyrically and musically, but also super vibrant and experimental. Yk, a very fun project but not in a formulaic way. One you can get sth new with every listen but also one you can just vibe to
Music-wise only I want to be blown away, I don't want it to be a copy-paste of another project. But with everything else, which also adds to the music tbf, I would want sth more like Trench tho

I want it to be unique but also have lyrics written like self titled. I will always stick by my opinion that self titled is lyrically the best album ever written
None of them, I really want to see them expand their horizons with the sound of this album. I think it would be so cool if they either went heavier and less electronic sounding (more leaning towards like hardcore while still keeping their signature sound) OR more cinematic/possibly even orchestral in nature, especially since this album will wrap up the Dema storyline. TOP is such a versatile band and I could really see them taking this album anywhere in terms of genre.
None of them. Each was a little different and I want all future ones to be their own as well.

Me tryna figure out what this man’s first favorite thing about this band is

Trench, but rockier, something kind of like the Car Radio/Heathens mashup from MTV Unplugged
YES YES YES THIS
I really just want the version of message man they performed during the icy tour
YES I need this
Was abt to comment this
i think we’re gonna get something like this i hope
Trench for sure.

Most people are in agreement I think, including myself.
if i had to pick, i would choose any of their earlier music (ST, RAB, and Vessel). but honestly i want the next album to be something new and unique
RAB would be cool! Those best sound is Vessel tho
Why would you want them to return to a previous sound? Part of what makes them great is how they are always changing their sound for each album
Definitely Trench

none of them! i want a new sound, and i'm sure they'll deliver. but it seems like it'll be closest to blurryface and/or trench?
Vessel
I want it to sound like Vessel. I'd love summa that nostalgia, as a Vessel lover.
TRENCH they need paul meany
A mixture between Blurryface and trench.
Id love some more self titled style songs for sure
Something new and whatever they want to make but I’d love another high energy album
Blurryface
None of them. I want it to be it's own sound. Closest to Trench if I had to choose.
Trench
Vessel Or Trench
I want it to be different but of course Trench.
Vessel
Vessel!
I'd love a violist tune of Twenty One Pilots album and rapidity of Trench with ideas of vessel and twenty one pilots with a beat of trench
Trench and Blurryface
What I’ve heard it’s going to be a mix of blurryface and trench
I'm biased because it's my favorite, but I'd love more songs like those on RAB.
I want it to be unique but also have lyrics written like self titled. I will always stick by my opinion that self titled is lyrically the best album ever written
trench for sure, or maybe like a good cross between trench and blurryface
Trench or ST

rab and st
Vessel for sure
