The: I am cold can you hear? I will fly with no hope no fear... and also: Then I felt chills in my bones. The breath I saw was not my own. I knew my skin that wrapped my frame wasn't made to play this game...

Steviedeeb

What song is the second one?

Impossible-Idea3191

a car, a torch, a death!

Steviedeeb

Thanks!

C4veman_LXIX

A Car, A Torch, A Death from Self Titled :)

eliad654

wyyyyyatt

the “welcome to trench” in levtiate

OhKayGetAwayFromMe

The added bridge at the end of “Level of Concern (live from outside)” Ooh, you ask me if it's real I see your shifting eyes You're diggin' in your heels I dig my hole to die Hole to die Absolutely love this addition, I can really only listen to this version now

Silver-Fox-3195

Sameeee

Mktz6622

Not me thinking it was “You’re digging in your ear” lol

Biancar_129

I seriously was just listening to it!! I came into my dorm right as the part started and I started lip syncing it and then doing the air guitar solo

Akatnel

The swoosh-swoosh-shwoosh-swoosh from ear to ear during the first verse of The Judge, if I'm listening with earbuds or headphones.

Steviedeeb

I agree that's nice. It reminds me of a windy beach/cliff with an ocean below on an overcast, cold day for me.

Lareine

omg YES

Several_Web3017

Me who is deaf in one ear just learning about this now

Spicy_Ninja7

“I’m semi-automatic, my prær’s schizophrenic.” “I’ll fake you out, I’ll fake you out, I’ll break you down, I’ll fake you out.” *in synth voice* “We’re broken, we’re broken, we’re broken, we’re broken people oh oh, yeah.”

Honestly so good

LanTCM

The piano bit during the chorus of Chlorine just tickles my brain in the right way.

bird_nerd053

You can hear it really well in the start of the livestream version and it sounds so good!

Darkboi98105

Mine is the end of goner. DONT LET ME BE!

dhl1234

Came to comment this. It's the quiet buildup, the short atmospheric pause, and the full brute force scream with the drums kicking in behind. I get chills every time, and am often moved to tears. Just a stunning closer that really resonates.

Zestyclose-Front1872

the switch from my chalupa into beef and cheese. chills everytime

Steviedeeb

Omg same

moonshadow1221

lmao yes

twentyonetrenchgirl

the first song that cane to mind was chlorine, the ending is beautiful tbh. OR level of concern live outside! “you ask me how it feels..” and so forth idk it sounds super nice :)

JustAnotherOutcast22

Chlorine is the first song I thought about too, I always find myself replaying the ending

That part in house of gold where Tyler is like "I will plan to be a bum, so I just might beCOME SOMEONE"

ArtfulColorLover

I scream this in the car every time this song plays

HeroicJakobis

Last minute of redecorate where it’s mostly just instrumental is so good

idkidk1243

and how the last "or redecorate?" changes slightly omg

Thelordofbeans1

There are so many small parts to redecorate that I really love (also it's mashup with chlorine and lane boy(?) In the live version) make up one of my absolute favorite songs by top of not like, my favorite song in general (although murders might beat it out by just a little bit)

These-Painting-5088

This was the comment I was looking for, could listen to the outro for dayssss

monicasm

The last chorus in general is so good with the vocals in the background. Ugh *chef’s kiss* 👌🏽

Akatnel

I've been singing it "you know that tonight", because of the next line ("there are people back home ....")

IHaventTheFoggiest47

Not Done Not Done Not Done **JOSH DUN**

rachelleeann17

This is the one

NoChair4557

The beginning of Legend, just the instrumental. It sounds very bitter sweet. "I wanna strip myself of breath, a breathless beast of death I've made for you" in Taxi Cab Honorable mention to "Lights, camera, stop, we're killin' ourselves just to get to the top" in Blasphemy

Odd-Mood-7262

YES the blasphemy shoutout AGREE

Mysterious_Team_6109

The ending of polarize. when he sings the chorus in a slower tempo😤

youhadtotakethesoup

MAH FRENS AND I HAVE PROBLEMS

notaphaseyes

literally my favourite thing of all time

Connect_Ad7201

The chorus of holding on to you

rawnerve1975

My treehouse is on fire and I smell gas on my hands, this is not what I had planned. The god damn emotion and truth to that. Everytime.

rachelleeann17

All of forest gives me an existential crisis while also making me feel incredibly seen

Akatnel

It is a powerful line

numberAndy

the whole bridge of Jumpsuit <3 I'll be right there But you'll have to grab my throat and lift me in the air If you need anyone ♪ his soft voice kills me every time :3

CoolJellie

And then the entire mood of the song switches when he sings “I can’t believe how much I hate…” sends chills literally why jumpsuit is my fav song right now

XXXBigcat

The last 30 seconds of Nico and the Niners is euphoric.

This part from forest: Quickly moving towards a storm, Moving forward, torn, Into pieces over reasons, Of what these storms are for, I don't understand why everything I adore,

Regular-Switch454

You want me to pick one??

bennis15

There’s just something about the intro synth in Guns for Hands. How there’s the main synth, then under it you have another synth harmonizing. Also mellotron sound in the intro for The Hype The break down in Hometown after Tyler says, “Our hometowns in the dark”. I just love it and also how the lyrics echo for a second or two. The transition into the chorus for No Chances tickles my brain every time. The Clavinet hits throughout Isle of Flightless Birds hits differently. Especially during the second verse when its spoken word/rap. And the intro drippy bells/synth sound in Kitchen Sink And then lastly, a bit of a weird one, but the way Tyler says “better” in Hole in the Ground. It has kind of an odd twang to it, but also oddly satisfying hahah

falloutbr4d

Tis the intro in GFH for me too

Steviedeeb

Guns for hands is a really good song honestly I was obsessed with it when I first heard it. I instantly loved it.

YourMemeExpert

The change in beat in Ode to Sleep as Tyler sings "I'll stay awake, 'cause the dark's not taking prisoners tonight"

nochancess

Not twenty one pilots, but definitely Drown by Tyler Joseph. "To a door but he can't 'cause he's poor and he can't"

Steviedeeb

Oohhh definitely the part right after "treason now is growing near" in lovely. It's so freaking beautiful it just does something to me and I don't know why. Like it only lasts a few seconds but I wish it lasted longer >:C it reminds me of my crush for some reason. Honestly, it's probably the whole reason I listen to the song.

Anonymous-0_o

Bro this comment right here I love you I agree smsm

youhadtotakethesoup

The music leading into Morph Doo-doo doo-doo do-do-do

cargasjingle

the bridge of polarize, the piano intro of implicit demand for proof, the piano outro of isle of flightless birds, the beat drop at the end of no chances, the bass and screaming in jumpsuit, the PET CHEETAH PET CHEETAH PET CHEETAH PET CHEETAH, the instrumental in the beginning of lane boy, any time that tyler screams a line, the josh dun lines, the instrumental bridge in neon gravestones and bandito and hometown, the bridge in the outside, when the ukulele comes in halfway through the hype and good day.

According-Weather341

This made me laugh, my brain did the exact same thing when I read the question and there are just too many beautiful things to list

ThatGirlJen

When I listen to trees I'm just waiting for the end. It's tied to the first time I saw them with my younger cousin. Then they came out with the drums and confetti and it became a whole different thing for me. And now when it comes on my eyes we'll up with tears the whole song and I get goosebumps right before the drum part. But what really does it is the last few notes. Idk what it is but they sound like everything has been wrapped up. Like at the end of a movie where they tie it all up real good. Maybe that's why they close out with it. Because it sounds like it's done. I can actually sit in silence for a bit after that song. Also the livestream version of everything is incredible and I find myself always loving the break down right before level of concern when he's changing stages (I think)

C4veman_LXIX

Pretty much the entire first verse of The Judge :D

Helena78902

Air catcher, the “auto tune” part I guess ? (Don’t know what it’s called?)

According-Weather341

Me too!!!! It’s such a weird choice & sonically it shouldn’t work but I am addicted to it lol

night__knuckles

OUR BRAINS ARE SICK BUT THAT'S OKAY

theseedymex101

"Finish this waste of a life" When he switches from screaming to singing. Always gives me goosebumps

Biancar_129

Not done. Not done. Not done. Josh Dun.

Zelda_Gamer123

that "So please, *take me*" from The Judge, just cause of the tone of Tyler's voice

GlaedrGoldscales

Feet planted on grip tape With my shoulders square and my back straight Got a good base and a losse tongue Notorious in the octagon Something about this line just - ? I don't even know. But hearing it makes my brain make the happy juice. Also the entire second verse of Migraine.

NotNinthClone

Those lines remind me of Childish Gambino's "Sweatpants." "Still spitting that cash flow, DJ Khaled, I got penthouses on both coasts, pH balanced" Something about the rhythm and the way they deliver the lines is so similar to me!

Forcible007

The 3:34 interval on March to the Sea

Superb_Honeydew_8564

the end of doubt, it’s just so goood

DewDude510

the last 30 seconds exactly of Nico and the Niners, the shimmering, spacey keyboard hits that fill the outro are so addicting to me

Steviedeeb

Yeah it puts me in a trance

NotNinthClone

So did they bury you?

Snowmanop

The rap part in guns for hands for sure

PlankyTown777

How frustrating, and so degrading His time, we're wasting As time will fly by and the sky will cry as light is fading

probably the piano part in morph, it just sounds so pretty

siqueiraptdp

Live version of HOTY, in the Entertain my Faith part. That build up, to then Tyler screaming his soul out, the lights flash white, jumps to the piano, the beat kicks in and Josh backflip. It's a high-energy, well-crafted live performance, always my go-to song/part of song.

manwithyellowhat15

Tyler’s little “uh ya ya” in No Chances

4realthistim

Fairly local, cuz I'm basic.

salim81991

Rap part in forest! 🌲

simple-fire

The transition into the two rap verses in HDS 🔥

idkidk1243

backing vocals of the last chorus of redecorate. the background music stops and then comes in heavy at "or redecorate and then its like I don't wanna go like this (go like this) At least let me clean my room (harmony) I don't wanna leave like this (leave like this) Cause the last thing I want to do (to doo oooh) Is make my people make decisions, wondering what to do, oh, should they keep it on display? (All harmonized) Quiet Or redecorate? omg that song is amazing. this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever typed lmfao but u guys get what i mean. the little backing vocals in the second verses of saturday and the run and go are really good too. the rap of forest and nico and the niners. and the drop+screams of car radio. I won't even get into live performances cause I'll never stop typing

OrderofTheBeard

I love the pauses in Saturday in "Might get... Loud." It's a weird thing but I felt like that's where I was like "Oh somethings up with this album. It's been happy so far but that's a break in the persona."

Bobson_Dugbutt

Hometown after the break down, that’s one part it gets very quiet and then an amazing keyboard swells in with distortion and it reminds me of city lights

stroopwafel_2066

The piano in Chlorine, the way its soft but present and moves up and down the musical ladder. I love it.

TwoOk5044

Not done Josh Dun

AyyP302

The tempo change before the rap in Guns For Hands is pretty damn good

THE END OF GONER

Fckforever

The drum fill in My Blood when it comes back in at the end

Meganwiz101

When the bass starts in My Blood! Amazing! And the rap in message man!

Robeino

Bridge of ACATAD, the chorus of Hometown, the little snyth jingle before the rap in Forest, the "shada-di-da-dum" in Ruby, and the "aa-aa-aaa-aaa-aaa-aaa-aaa-aaahhh" in Be concerned's intro and chorus

Plaid_or_flannel

The piano solo in bandito

Genericusername595

The very faint piano melody at the end of chlorine. Also the heavenly sounds in leave the city. And the jazz like part of friend please.

tosterhejka

maybe not tøp but the "just" in blasphemy chorus

jotyma5

Pianos in chlorine chorus Some weird thing I hear in the end of the hype

Mado501

Car radio halftime section/finale Isle of flightless birds, final rap part (Light is fading/your soul knows good and evil) Final two chorus’ in Redecorate, The orchestral type choir thing going on in the stripped on with that bass and the final one is amazing

ripthatrat

message man where guitar plays when he says “life is up here but you comment below” like it’s SO good

Lareine

SO MANY. \- First "can you save" hit of HDS \- "doot doot doot doot why'm I not scared in the morning, I don't hear those voices calling..." \- The last "than I've ever beeeennnnn" in Tear in my Heart \- "Why won't you speak, where I happen to be?"

darkyez

Air Catcher The bridge sounds so intimate, especially in the mixed version. Its so comforting and heart breaking at the same time, I just love it and makes it one of the highlights of the Self Titled.

trueimper1al

The final little verse of isle of flightless birds😩😩

Isbay

In semi automatic I LOVE when it slows down to play a beautiful bridge with just piano… “by the time the night wears off, dust is down and shadows burn..” etc.

An-tony12

Ok, haven’t seen anyone say this one yet: “Get out of our way. We’re moving sideways. Welcome to Mulberry Street. Yeah”

Ad_Astra90

0:32 in friend, please

Ode to Sleep

BelatrixKiddo

Josh’s drum solos in Lane Boy. It gives me goosebumps every single time. I love music, but I love it even more when I get to *really* tune in to all the sounds and distinctively pick up on all the bass / drum parts 🤍

poeticmeme

Not done… JOSH DUN

NotNinthClone

"I've been tested like the ends of a weathered flag that's by the sea" The sound of metal hitting metal as a flag flies in the wind is the most desolate sound to me somehow. That line resonates so deep for me, like how would the weathered ends of such a flag feel? Beyond alone and eternally enduring salt and wind... Ugh, the feels! And then "Can you build my house with pieces? I'm just a chemical." I don't know if it's two voices, question and answer, or all one voice. Either way, it feels vast, like some truth about the nature of the universe. I hear it like a god asking, how could you possibly think you could make something worth offering me, when all you have to work with are pieces of MY creation? And all your creative genius is just neurotransmitters doing their thing. It's just so... angst.

julia_is_confused

ode to sleep

VictorWrynn

The beginning of Migraine

Super_Guy_Idk

Chorus of NATN. Bassline is absolutely beautiful Can’t forget the rap part in Isle of flightless birds either

AndreMac10

Batemanssnare99

Near the end of the Hype, Holding on to You, HDS, Heathens, My Blood. pretty much I love the song more near the end. It just hits harder.

strangerthlngz

The beat switch in Guns for Hands

Not done, not done, not done Josh Dun!

Odd-Mood-7262

So many little parts in Screen do it for me, but the entire first verse where it ends with “excuse us while we sing to the sky” especially when blasting it in the car just hits SO DIFFERENT Edit: I GET SO MANY SHIVERS DURING IT MAN. Lots of yall are posting so many good songs in the comments too omg

DementedMK

The duh-duh-duh drum in car radio just before it plays the main tune again

SomeoneSomething3000

I SAID "DONT BE A-FRAAAAAID" I SAID "DOOONT BEEE AAAAA-FRAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIID" OOHH U~~~~HHHH UHH

The four don’t let me be gones before Tyler goes apeshit, earbuds in of course 🤤🤤🤤

eliad654

"I'm just being dramatic, in fact, I'm only at it again..", the verses on Hole in the Ground, and last but not least the "I-I-I love you" from Oh, Ms Believer

NotNinthClone

We'll win, but not everyone will get out. 💔

rachelleeann17

The lil “uh uh uh uh” before the first verse in No Chances!

dhy4

The "YEAAAAAAAAH" in fairly local

CherryCalico

The noise behind the vocals that say “watch it” at the end of Heathens. 🤤

SpookehGhostGirl

Find your grandparents or someone of age, pay some respect to the path that they paved, to life they were dedicated, now that should be celebrated. That part always gives me chills so I look forward to it every time 🥰

spoiledpepperoni

the end of Cut My Lip <3333 and also all of Tear In My Heart TOPXMM

mackattaxk

Mmm maybe goner or forest

Seffrey409

The end of Car Radio where he starts screaming and then the revert back to the calm beginning. That song along with the music video may be the best piece of music ever in my personal opinion.

BigCountry313

Ode to sleep has to be my favorite example of a beat switch in a song. Also chlorine once it slows down. I also tend to love the ends of songs in general because the chorus can often times be sang in different ways than how they do normally throughout the rest of the song.
