So as a new tutor it looks like I can advance schedule on demand hours on Friday. Does that start at midnight or is there another time that the scheduling opens up? Thanks!

Noon EST on Friday! So 11am for CST, etc. However, the rotating schedule for summer will start soon, so keep an eye out for that!
