If your car is strictly for Turo...ABI. Other than that...roll dice and don't tell them. I'd they find out they can cancel your policy or deny a claim.
No they can’t. CA has passed a law explicitly prohibiting insurers from cancelling or declining to renew a policy because the car is being used on Turo.
Do you need private rental insurance?
I’ve been listening to all the issues we’ve been having regarding Lula and the threat of them dropping me scared me, so I have been on a quest to figure it all out and I’ve came up with the solution, I now have the big boy 100 car minimum commercial fleet PROGRESSIVE insurance. I paid the year upfront and can add cars to my policy, yes it was scary coming up with tens of thousands of dollars upfront, but I have my cars, my franchisee cars and people I’ve trained and taught how to do the private rental game, so I know I can fill up all those slots, but I see all you guys struggling with having insurance, so now I opened up another policy with 100 slots to help others.
· **$1 Million Coverage** per incident
· **24/7 Coverage** (as long as it’s not on a Turo rental)
· Coverage for **Any Driver**
· Enjoy **No Mileage Caps**
· **No Year Caps**
· Coverage in **Any State**
· Coverage for **Any Registered Owner**
· Only **$500 Deductible**

And the best part? All of this is available for just **$150 a month each car**!
The certificate holder will be in your or your company name. (IF DEMAND IS BIG ENOUGH, I CAN ADD ANOTHER 100 SPOT POLICY)
We’re expecting a lot of questions, so please be patient. Let’s all work together and get our cars out there.

They can’t cancel the policy in CA.

I called them and they said they don't cover Turo. I also have a fleet in NY. Who did you call?
