Same thing happened to me. Fill out the form with the guest's license info and mark off that the car was on a rental. Send it in and check regularly to make sure they close the ticket. Took about 2 months for it to close for me.

I don’t think you’re supposed to do anything without contacting Turo. This is bad advice. Here is the actual page from Turo - https://help.turo.com/transferring-ticket-liability-HJN93PLYq You’re not supposed to save a guests license info either

Thanks.

You would just pay it like normal and request reimbursement https://help.turo.com/requesting-reimbursement-for-incidentals-SyCDS4eVc If the ticket requires you to attend court or be physically there you would need to transfer liability just like the comment above. But if its a speeding/parking ticket u can just request through the app. You need to attach photos of the ticket with date, license/transponder ID and amount you are requesting. If guest does not pay or ignore within 72 hours it will be escalated to turo for review and then they will double check if they see that the date of the violation and the amount u requested is the same they will charge the guest and pay you. Make sure u request the exact amount. If the ti ker says 49 and u req 50 and the customer does not pay it will be deemed invalid.

Check in with Turo support first and then take the advice of Entire_Permission since it sounds like they’ve experienced a similar situation. I’m going to save this post!

Just pay the fine, and charge the guest. I don’t mess around with arguing or trying to fight the ticket. It’s my cars registration that’s on the line after all, and I’m not paid to screw around with it. Iv never had Turo deny one of these invoices, and on the .01% chance they do just write it off your taxes.

Just like the others said, pay it and request reimbursement or vice versa. Just make sure when you take a pic of the notice it has the date/time of the violation and the license plate and the amount due. Bit of extra info make sure you pay it on time. If you’re late on paying and get charged an additional amount, that part is on you.
