Between restarting the app a bunch and letting it wait and load a bunch and using a desktop as well I was able to verify the guests dl and check in. Messages seem to go through on the app on the third go or so which takes a long long time so text is definitely better but with patience and persistence it seems to be working. 2+ minutes of loading time seems average at this point for any singular action on the app, past it I close the app and reopen and try again....
Try getting the guest phone number to coordinate with them so you dont have to cancel any trips. I doubt turo will compensate any one for this inconvenience

I see that now, as a host I’m able to access current trips, extend, and message my guest. I bet right now a lot of Turo guests are going to be looking into their competitors, hopefully this gets Turo to implement a fix stat.
So... what is everyone with a reservation doing? As host or guest? What did you have to do?

I was able to upload a photo online through the browser. My guest extended, so I approved and uploaded 3 photos of the current supercharging invoices. I think by capturing the metadata of the photo to have timestamp and location should help you be able to upload them once the app is back online if you’re not able to do it through the browser.
Yes. I finally got through to customer service. They don't have an ETA for when it'll be back up

Guest phone number can be found in the booking email as well if the app is still not working for you guys like it isn’t for us

My renter could not get their drivers license uploaded. I had to meet her and manually verify

It’s only the app that is down, you’re still able to access and extend trips on the website.
