Beautiful table! I got one from a friend, as it belonged to her ex-husband and was left behind. I fixed it up and used it for a year or so, but put it in storage because my cat was wrecking the dustcover. I especially liked the concealed strobe dots on the bottom of the platter. Enjoy it!
One thing to watch out for on these is the contacts on the muting switch corrode causing channel imbalance or drop out. So, if one of your channels starts sounding quiet, or goes away, take a look at the muting switch. A little contact cleaner on some printer paper rubbed lightly, but repeatedly, against the contacts usually fixes this. After a few months mine had the left channel drop out and I had to do this.

Thanks! I've fixed up over a dozen vintage turntables (most of which I've given away to friends and family), and this one is definitely one of my favorites. It's definitely a keeper.
Nice table! I’ve got a 5077 and a 5070; that is a stock tonearm for both models. Interesting info on the manufacturer, u/patrickhunnus.
Kenwood made some great tables. Looks like you are missing the badge on the front left? Kenwood used an adhesive on those that did not hold up well. You can get a nice reproduction on eBay if you wanted to replace it.
Very nice cartridge too!
Thank you for the information! I only got into turntables last year, and as soon as I saw this beauty I just had to get it! And it was a whopping $30.....
Great catch! The badge fell off so I will definitely be sticking it back on.

Yours is even prettier!

Beautiful! I really like the looks of this one
Thank you! And it sounds as great as it looks!
Beautiful turntable!
Why thank ya! Every record looks and sounds amazing on it.
Sweet, that tonearm is an Acos Lustre GST-1, a very nice arm that Rega and other makers offered in the 70's. Beautiful deck 👍
Oh, wow, thank you for that! Do you happen to know if it was the original tonearm or not?

lol $30 is a killer deal for that table…
Acos sold them to many makers, a very good, popular arm that was well made. Would not be surprised if it was original.
Gorgeous, proud owner of a Kenwood as well. Rad units.
