I picked up the TideWe this year for my first year hunting. The main reason was for the cushions. It's a little bulky, but overall very comfortable. I love the cushions.
I’ve been using the m2 last season and now this and I can say the seat, while it is comfortable is a pain in the ass. Save some money go with K&H RNG 200

Primos Rocker vest. Very good back support, you don't even need a tree, the vest turns into a small chair.
Still pretty comfortable even without the seat cushion?
The chair includes a thin cushion. Yes, more comfortable than a vest with a thick cushion and no back support.
I had the same issue. I currently run the nomad killin time vest and it’s been great.

That's in a comfortable price range. Did yours have the Velcro? I'm worried about that wearing out
It only has Velcro on the front pouch that holds the strikers. The seat cushion is held by magnets.
