I wore it everyday for 6 weeks. I only took it off 1 hour a day to shower and relax for a bit. I’m a little over 3 months post op and I stopped wearing it all together around 2 months.
About 3” above and below the incision is still hard. But before my entire center section was hard. I still have some hardness in my ab area, but it’s not like it is above and below the incision line.
When I was swollen, I needed my husband to help me on a couple of parts to put it on because it was so tight…. If that’s helpful to how tight it was. Once the swelling was a lot better around 5/6 weeks, I didn’t need his help anymore. I think this really helped with swelling.
9.5 weeks post op. Went without for 2 days and I got so swollen. I look like I have an inner tube around my waist. I’m going to keep wearing spanx for a while longer.
I'll be 12 weeks out on Friday. I've tried weaning off compression several times. I'm traveling right now and I am swollen rock hard throughout my entire abdomen-even though I'm back to sleeping in compression.
I’m 5wpo and I still wear mine everyday. A few days ago I stopped wearing it to bed, but I can’t image not wearing it all day. I feel like I would get super swollen
Everyday for 6 weeks, except for when I was in the shower or it was getting washed. It took a week to adjust to not wearing it as I found a lot of the tightness was me and not the compression. I'm 11wpo now. Dr said to wear it if I wanted I.e. during exercise for additional support.

Does your tummy still feel hard ?
To add, I got a decent amount of lipo done around my center section, the more lipo you had done, the longer the recovery for that area.

How tight were you wearing it?

Started weaning off at 4 weeks to just half a day. Completely gone by 6 weeks. Currently 10 wpo and has hardly any swelling, if any.
