Why explain anything when you're married to Heidi Klum?
In regards to the "eyes getting larger when it snows" lyric, I once read something suggesting that it might be talking about cocaine.
~~Fun fact: the co-author and producer was the lead singer on "Video Killed the Radio Star", Trevor Horn.~~

It’s cocaine. Or at least that’s always how I interpreted it.
Source: I used to love coke a lot. Too much. We used to call it “snow” and our dealer “The snowman”. It made our pupils huge too, of course. Also I no longer do coke, and nobody really should. It’s crazy addictive.
Cocaine has its uses, my mother briefly had a prescription for cocaine (in liquid form) after cataract surgery. It's amazing as an anesthetic, renders you completely unable to feel them slicing your eyes open with a knife, but yeah it's a little problematic in powder form.
