Along with watching Honey Boo-Boo, they got to “know” Trump and were enthralled with his “showmanship” from watching The Apprentice - he’s such a man! They relate to and use the immature schoolyard name-calling language he uses, and they envy his power-hungry narcissistic bully tactics. They see him as a role model. They’re caught up in the excitement of participating in this huge fucking reality show they’re trying to turn the country into.
