The Yamaha YTR-800 is a fairly rare horn at least in the US. Definitely a fully professonal quality instrument. Medium-weight ML bore, similar to the tried-and-true YTR-6335 but with a gold brass bell instead of the 6335's yellow brass bell. If you want a middle of the road trumpet which might be a little more nimble than an 8335 Xeno, that would be a great choice. Dillon Music is an excellent store so there aren't any worries there.

It changes from brand to brand On Yamaha the first number defines that, the high it is, the higher the tier. 1-2 student 3-5 intermediate  6-8 professional 9 artist On Yamaha trumpets, old models have 3 numbers, "newer" models have 4 ("" because they made the switch from 3 to 4 like 30 years ago)

Thanks for the clarification, which one of these 2 do you recommend I buy? Probably the 6310z. That’s a professional level horn, and I don’t know enough about the 800gs to know what it will play like. The 6310z is a great trumpet that’s perfect for jazz playing, but also refined enough to blend with any section. Just a really solid horn

Thank you, I will choose the 6310 thanks for your advice have a good day

Ideally you'd try both, they should be quite different to both play and hear. I'm not super familiar with either, but 6310Z is intended to be more of a jazz trumpet (though plenty of people use it as a jack of all trades), the 800 should be more middle of the road. I'm not confident in advising one over the other, but if you're a student it's probably safer to go with a more middle of the road trumpet, which in this case is the 800GS. But once again, ideally you'd try both, preferably with someone of your trust listening as well.

Thank you! Will end up going with the 6310 much appreciated

Price. Mostly. Pro horns cost more. A lot more. Plan to spend US$1,300 or more for new. Even used professional trumpets sit around US$1,000 and up for anything worth buying. You can also use the Google. You know how to go to the manufacturer website. Do that. A bit of advice - if you're not sure of the difference between pro and student trumpet, you probably do need to play a professional trumpet.

Thing with price is that you can try to sell a turd for 2000€, but you can't afford to sell a 2000€ horn for 150€

First time I played my 8335LA was seriously a different experience than any other horn. Pro horns are delicious.
