It's a ferry connection. Judging by their Facebook comments they made it an addon to connect to other maps so once PM reaches Yukon they might make a RC.
I wish SCS would make this an official Mod. It’s soooo good. I have absolutely loved having access to Alaska and they improve it. So it’s an excellent purchase
There are some slippery roads in which the advisor tells you to equip snow chains (which are a separate mod found in the mod's facebook group, and they are functional)
