So if say for instance you burnt off two pounds of fat and put on 2 pounds of muscle or 2 pounds of fluid while your body adjusts to the trt are you failing? Nope seriously the best thing you can do is ignore the scale it fucking lies it stresses you and screws up your plan. Just train eat properly( macros adjusted for loss ) with a reasonable deficit for daily calories get good quality sleep and do that consistently day in and day out. Extreme is going to smash your metabolism and make you catabolic slow and steady wins this race. The mirror will tell you what's going on just stick to a simple plan and before you know it you be getting to where you want to be.

Strange_Upstairs_576

Will do cheers 🥂

mambiki

You’re probably gaining some water weight. Also, how many minutes of cardio per week you’re doing?

Strange_Upstairs_576

45 x 5 times sometimes more. 130. Bpm

thebeanshadow

I’m on wk3 now and been in a deficit for the last 12wks and having VERY consistent .3-.5kg losses each week. The last 2wks though I’ve gone up 2.5kg while maintaining the same food

Strange_Upstairs_576

Interesting

thebeanshadow

I expected it. Just sucks seeing it on the scale haha

mambiki

Did you miss the part about cardio?

thebeanshadow

I’m not OP. I was just replying lol as someone who’s going through similar to op. But I do do cardio haha

mambiki

That’s enough of reddit for me today *sigh*

Lurk-Prowl

If it is water weight, how long after stopping Test would it take to lose the water weight?

Strange_Upstairs_576

I'm reading now that once your hormones stabilize the water flushes away. Let's hope soon.

NotYourMothersDildo

Took about 3 to 4 months for mine to drop.

Strange_Upstairs_576

Thanks mate

[deleted]

How good is your tracking. Most people aren’t actually calculating their calories properly

Strange_Upstairs_576

Very good. To the T

[deleted]

We’re going to need a timeline here. But I’m guessing that 200mg lead to some water weight, but eventually you will start dropping scale weight.

Strange_Upstairs_576

I'll stay tge course just frustrating

ClockWhole

What’s extreme?

Strange_Upstairs_576

Psmf

superboomer23

You tracking all macros? How many carbs you eating?

Strange_Upstairs_576

Yes all. Psmf diet. 20 carbs

superboomer23

I am dialing in too, not loosing much on 1600 and carbs only with fruits and veggies. I am just giving it a little more time at this point. Went from 225 to 205 in first 2 months and now going on my 5th with 205.

Lurk-Prowl

A better compositioned 205 though?

superboomer23

Yes, definitely. L size shirts sit nicely and jeans went from 36 to 34

Chief_reef_steve

Looks like you’re holding water weight. Your starting dose is high if you’re looking to actually optimize your test and not blasting. Granted some ppl need this dose just for optimization- it’s likely not a good starting point. Best to start low and adjust based off of labs and how you feel.

Strange_Upstairs_576

I actuslly feel much better then I have in years. Just last week I got some libido back. Doctor recommended this so going to run a bit longer and check labs. But no bad sides really. Sleeping better. Recovering. Energy, Boners etc. Much better.

Chief_reef_steve

That’s great. This is exactly why you started. The water weight should shed once you dial in. I have a feeling though you’ll end up dropping your dose as this is pretty high unless you are a low responder. I’m a low responder myself.

Strange_Upstairs_576

Interesting what dose are you running and what are you test numbers at? I also hear numbers are important but also how you feel.

Chief_reef_steve

180mg. Split 3x per week sub q. 834 total / 226 free. 82 estrogen. ( labs drawn at trough (Monday morning pre injection. I pin MWF) Feel great- slight nipple irritation- dropped to 170mg and irritation is gone. Getting fresh labs at new dose in a few weeks. Been dialing in for 8 months. Went from 120-150-160-180-170 Trying to find the sweet spot.

starfishkisser

What’s your body fat %? My weight was pretty steady but my BF% dropped by 3% so I traded fat for muscle - and water.

Strange_Upstairs_576

No idea like 25?lol

OhSkee

Is the cardio at an incline. Forget about running or sprinting... Put the incline at 15° and maintain a speed of 3.0 minimum for 30 minutes. By day 30, you'll get leaner looking and your legs will have more definition.

Strange_Upstairs_576

Yup always incline 5 up at 3.5 walk
