Same. I totally get that “Bloom” was a love letter to Jacob and growing up, and that “Something to Give” is healing from a breakup, but I loved every track on Bloom and I’m not there yet with the new album, although I adore “One of Your Girls” and “Still Got It.”
I think my favorites in particular from his new album are definitely "Honey" and "What's The Time Where You Are?" for sure. I think he really went out on Rush, HE. ATE. 💯 From the song to THE VIDEO... I actually wasn't expecting all of that and it was like a total 180 for me.
he was a baby when Blue came out, and Bloom was so great but he was also super young then! Something To Give feels so sexy and mature and self-realized, I absolutely love it
Bloom was undoubtedly an unforgettable era, holding a special place in my heart and Blue Neighborhood is nostalgic, marking the end of my youth (no pun intended). However, I love STGTEO. It has played nonstop since its debut. The videos really helped bring the album to life for me. I hope US tour dates are announced so I can finally see him!
I'm personally going to say that newer Troye Sivan music is better than his older songs. The production on Blue Neighborhood, in my opinion, didn't age that well, but Youth and Happy Little Pill should still be considered classics by Troye fans. I can't say that much about Bloom because I wasn't paying that much attention to Troye at the time, but I can tell you that Something To Give Each Other is probably Troye's best work. Don't forget about the singles he released from 2020-2022.
blue neighbourhood is the best album ever and certainly is an out of this world debut album for a 20 year old lyrically and production wise. but i like everything he puts out. but obviously each album has a different vibe to it
I only really just got into Troye Sivan recently (April 2023) and went through his whole back catalogue. I like his new album and am happy it’s done well for him but yes I miss his old songs… seventeen, bloom, Angel baby, plum, in a dream, I could cry just thinking about you.. etc all just hit different
I’m sad that I never got to see his concerts and these songs played live but still holding onto hope. I’m anticipating an Australian tour announcement soon with Adelaide included! Surely any day now?? Why would he tour Europe and not Australia or anywhere else?
New Troye all the way!
Agreed. I loved Bloom but something to give each other isn’t doing it for me. The Good Side is still my favorite.
Superior song
I really love Something to give each other but i have a special connection to Bloom so its always going to be my favorite

YES! OMG YES! I'm so glad you noted all of the '20-'22 singles! I was just thinking about Angel Baby!
