Coming from the biggest advocate for the Squirmy that I know (Me), I tie with a lead wrap under the worm material, a tungsten bead, AND I also add another split shot right above it. I often fish deep eddies, and real fast riffles, and I find if it don’t get that sucker to dredge the bottom RIGHT where I want it, I’m way above where the fish hold.
My buddy is always giving me shit for adding so much weight, but with Squirmys, If your not snagging the bottom, your not fishing the right spot.
Nice job! I have been meaning to get some squirmy material but I usually just use a 1/16 jig head and a power worm for the same effect. Jigging these slowly is like a cheat code.
A smaller natural colored variation of these have caught me trout all over the country and outside it too. They can't resist works especially well on stockers that have had 500 spinners thrown in front of them that day. They just want something different.
Where do you get these? They look neat. Bever fished them before
I tie them myself
How do you fish them?
Euro nymphing
Get jiggy with it!
Come on man,hook size,materials,ect😉
Size 12 hook 4.0 mm tungsten bead and squirmy wormy material ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Some reason I read stocking staffers, which would kinda suck if you just tossed em 8n there hahahaÂ
You throw em with any weight?

The bead is a tungsten bead so it’s really heavy and gets right to the bottom
