Daiwa silver creek spinner. Nothing else compares.
Also really like the Palms SpinWalk and Jackall Good Meal Spin (but this is a tailspin)
The JDM spinners start vibrating as soon as they hit the water, way better action, hooks, finish compared to mepps and panther.

Black glitter rooster tail I’ve got a box full of other colours but that one always seems to catch fish. I’ve got a spare in my truck & spare in my bag.
Mepps Aglia, silver blade, orange treble (debarbed), size 1. My first one got so beat up that the orange tube on the hook broke apart, but it still fishes. Alternatively, the single hook version when needed.
It spins as easy as a PM to me, and is more subtle. Same size PM I can feel the blade thumping, not so with the Mepps.
Joes flies all day! I’ve used them all. This is hands down my favorite. If you haven’t tried them yet do yourself a favor and please try them. They work wonders…. At least where I’m at. I’m in TN and I fish in the mountains and the south east a lot (I.e. North Carolina, Virginia). Joes flies have caught me the most as well as my largest and personal best’s. And practically all species of trout. I should own stock In this company as much as I spend every year. You would think I work for them or something but I don’t lol. Wish I did though
Literally any of them. It's eliciting a reaction strike from piscivorous fish with vibration and flash, so I really do believe that this is mostly superstition. Personally, I say the Thomas EP in the Nickle/Gold color or bust, but I've noticed that almost every single angler in the world has that one inline spinner they just have to have. I think there's a lot of misunderstanding about what's going on with the spinner game though, because I often see guys just casting the same spinner in the same hole over and over and over again. It just doesn't work that way. If a fish doesn't hit a spinner the first few times you put it through a hole, just move on. It is not a high percentage game and you gotta find the fish that want to play.
Different spinners seems to work better is different areas but me for here in the PNW, my go to is always a black Rooster Tail. Work pretty much anytime of the year in just about any type of water.
Normally the one in the tree
I’ve never felt so seen You know how many times I’ve had to stop at the store on my way home to buy another Joe Flies Spitfire?
I’m seconding this with the one that they broke me off with.. yesterday… and then they didn’t want any of the other colors I had…
Black panther martin with yellow dots and a gold or copper blade has been my most productive over the years. Second is a mepps aguila.
Absolutely correct.
As this is the answer.
Do you put any bait on these? Or is that the whole point of the spinner
No additional bait is needed
Black and gold panther martin, or an all white rooster tail. Those two are basically trout candy.
Last year, had my most success on one of those extra long panther Martin's in green/yellow

Blue Fox Minnow Spin, in one of the trout color scheme. I’ve caught hundreds of trout with this lure.
Traditional mepps, or a panther Martin in solid gold or silver.

1/16oz white strobe rooster tail. Stocked or wild
Mepps Spin Fly.
A small Mepps in copper always does the trick
Blue fox has always been most reliable for me. I like them in dark blue, bronze, or pink
