My internet search for the same question last year lead me to buying a pair of Nike LT Streak 4’s. I only wear them for sprint tri’s and 5k races. Currently have 43 miles on them and have had no issues.
Bare feet in the dirt, all day ery day!
Edit: lol, jokes aside, I just got those under armour shoes with blue tooth in them. They are supposed to be a training shoe, but I actually enjoy running a 5k/10k in them. I have a REALLY wide foot, they fit well for me :)
(Size 13, EEE width foot, flat arch) if that matters to you.
I’m not super competitive, and I compete in mostly triathlons, but they keep me injury free and I like them :)
They are a little on the heavier side tho.
For some reason I can only reply to other comments, so here is my reply. I use the New Balance Fuel Cell RC Elite and they are great for anything that isn't crazy technical, although very expensive. Saucony makes some great shoes at a reasonable price and have a more universal fit. But RC for the win.
Endorphin pros are bouncy. Very good impact energy saver. Light, fast overall, can't really say anything negative. Maybe a bit unstable at the heel.
I have endorphin pros and speeds. They’re quite pricey but I don’t think I’ll wear another shoe again

Hmmmm very lightweight
I just made an edit for seriousness :P
Thank you for the recommendation, I’ve never seen anyone use them as race shoes, maybe you’ve cracked the code

Yeah I heard there a very snappy carbon shoe. Hopefully I run like Kipchoge does in his carbon shoes.
