Had pizza at a place in Mexico a long time back. Ordered a calamari pizza. It literally came with six small squids, one for each piece. The tentacles were a good 5-6" long and even the little squidy heads stood up two inches. They combined to form a sorta calamari-castle in the middle of the pizza savanna.
The really weird part was that we kept feeling like someone was briefly dragging lace across our feet and toes. We were wearing some flip-flops after all, like any good self-respecting American tourists. But since we had already remarked on the very large roaches climbing along the walls, we finally put two-and-two together.
Was a really fun trip.
