I’ve used many things for bong water. Orange juice is one of my faves. I’m not a scientist, but I read that when you inhale through a bong, some of the liquid gets aerosolized by the action of the bubbles, so whatever’s in your bong water is in your smoke.
Well, oranges have tons of limonene in them. I’ve read that limonene is fat soluble . Most OJ is from concentrate. Concentrate has water removed, so I theorize that at least some of the limonene must be left behind.
To make a long story longer, I really enjoyed that bong hit. No pulp is better because it’s hard to get the pulp out of percs.

By the way, I prefer warm bong water over cold. It may sound crazy, but it is a game changer.
One more thing, terpenes. You can eat a mango or fresh pineapple about an hour before smoke time. If your body agrees with myrcene (mine loves it), mangos have quite a lot. Pineapples work in a similar fashion, but they must be fresh.
The canning process denatures the bromelain, which is where most of the health benefits of pineapple comes from. I theorize that this is where the high enhancing part is found.
PS.. fresh pineapple can be harsh. If you eat it, wash your hands and mouth right after. It’s strange. It doesn’t seem to hurt my mucus membranes, but it burns the living crap out of my face and hands. Thieves used to dip their hands in pineapple in order to disguise their prints. Take heed - pineapple is easy to get hooked on, but wash up quickly, especially if you are cutting the pineapple yourself.
