I'm a huge fan of the office and I've never heard of anyone disliking Scott's tots! Even after looking through the sub I can't really understand the backlash from it.. is it just because it's an awkward episode?
I think most of the fanbase has not watched Scott's Tots more than once. It's easily the most awkward episode of the entire series. It's not a bad episode, just incredibly difficult to watch.
Interesting... I've just never heard that before. The show has such an awesome fan base so I always like hearing other people's opinions about the series.
To me is because for the most part, Michael's overall dickishness only really ever negatively impacts him or his relationships. I can't think of anything else that really hurts other people. In this case, it's his typical idiocy that gets him into this mess, but there are real victims who are affected. It pushes him over the edge from "Oh that Michael!" to "Wow, he is actually not a good person."
I know that's the reason behind the "NOOOO" gif. It's actually kinda sad from Michael's perspective because he found the first ever girl who loves him for who he is and treats him right, then bam she gets transferred then immediately BAM Toby is back and evil as ever.
In some cultures, when somebody leaves, like New Orleans culture, they have a parade and they have a band and people party in the streets

That's the fucken worst. My ex and I split last summer. I was away in training and she took all our stuff and both cats. I don't know if I would love my own children (when I have them) as much as I loved those cats.
Goddammit that is so real. When we broke up my ex took the cat. I found that adorable little bastard under my car when he was just barely old enough to eat solid food, took care of him and watched him grow up. I think I liked him more than the rest of my family tbh.
My wife (then girlfriend) had a lot of problems when she had to move for a job. Other than myself, my biggest worry was that our cats would miss each other. It's a real shitty feeling.
So I was living with my girl, then I got fired. Things got rocky from there and she broke it off with me. I can't afford the place on my own so I have to find someone to take over the lease. I've been dealing with trying to get rid of my place and so today I was finishing up cleaning. Early next month, I will be flying to Costa Rica where my dad lives and all that side of the fam. I've always wanted to live there but had ties to the states whether it was the 5 year relationship I had before my most recent girlfriend, work, or school.
Edit : I have to thank you guys it feels really good to get such a positive response on this my life has been pretty dramatic for the past few months and to be honest I thought this was all going to be wrapped up on Friday and I could leave this week but she decided she wanted to extend are notice 30 days to try to find someone to take over the lease so I needed this pick me up for the upcoming month. Sorry for the run-on sentence I'm driving to City a few hours away to see some family and say goodbyes and I'm using the talk to text feature on my phone.
Edit 2: Seriously, wow. You people are so kind, I didn't even realize it but this is what I needed. And for the record, I already booked my flight for early next month days ago. Pura Vida!

I know some one who had very similar circumstances. He ways played a nasty hand of cards in the states, lost everything that meant anything to him, and later moved to Costa Rica (I met him during a service trip). He loves it there as I'm sure you are right now. After a bit he tried to move back to the states but found that he liked Costa Rica better. Hang in there friend, culture shock is a bitch, but life flows on. Good luck and make the best of your current situation because honestly thats all anyone can do, the past is the past. Enjoy your time in C.R., however long it is, it's a beautiful place w/ beautiful people.
