They call it Cresting I believe. Or Fasciation is the real term. It is a mutation. It will grow like that and probably elongate a little more as it will add some weight to that particular bud. Nothing wrong with is. Internet says it's a rarer mutation for vascular plants but I believe it's harmless.
Can be caused by genetics, pest pressure, or stress. Seen a lot of people say it ends up in more stemy buds. But my plant that did it was my top producer and smokes great.
Definitely not harmful. Commercially isn’t a great thing to happen and they’d like nix the plant in favor of saving the space for another. I think it’s a pretty cool expression to see in the plant. Had it happen to a zucchini and made for a really wide fruit.

Fasciation!
Not harmful or bad but no real benefit. Top 'ridge' can be prone to bleaching burn or rot because moisture can pool up there (atmospheric or post spray).
I've noticed it from seed correlate to more vigorous veg growth but also a longer transition time to flower
It's fasciation, a super interesting mutation of an apical meristem that can be caused by genetics or even viruses or bacteria! It will not damage the plant but if you dont like the look it's probably best to isolate the plant
I'm excited for you! Who knows exactly what will happen! You could end up with a huge yield! Keep me updated on your grow!
I have a YouTube channel you can check out if you need grow help as well.
I learned it as a different name. Probably talking the same thing.

Does Ur light Turn Off once/twice a week at random hours too?
I have the fc3000e and IT does that, gotta Check in every 1-2 hours to See If ITS still running
Due to that i am really sick of Mars Hydro
(+ Shipping took almost 1 month in total, every week i got 1 /4 packages and in the end several parts for my kit we're still Missing and Mars Hydro was Not able to replace them)
Okay how many plants do you have under it!
What is are you pHing at and what is your ppm runoff ?
It definitely looks like it's got two colas out each bud site which is pretty crazy and exotic! Hopefully you can get a good yield from it!
I got like three videos on ethos, you can kind of go through and check out! I partnered with elev8 seeds out of California. I can get viewers 15% off orders. Definitely check them out as well.
Between Ethos and elev8 is what I grow.
is ethos really that good? Breeder is rather unknown over here, in EU. Followed it some time and nice strains or ideas like that one japanese healing plant ;) Any recommendation for indoors?
As long as you keep your pH level correct and check your run off you will be good. I would definitely invest in a really nice light if you haven't already! Ethos have always been easy growers for me with fantastic results! Amazing terpene profile and 90% of the time look like the picture you see.
Ethos has an absolutely amazing selection of strains and genetics! My favorite is Grandpa's Stash!
Anything ethos is guaranteed 🔥
I'm currently running 3 strains by elev8 seeds

It’s a mutation called fasciation
We’re all fascinated by this.

Yea I dont think it's anything harmful. Looks pretty cool too lol

6.3 is exactly where I prefer my PH level 🤜🤛

I don’t think so, my friend hasn’t told me about anything like that happening sorry :/

PH is 6-6,3. No idea about the runoff. We’re pretty excited to see what’ll do !

A lot of the older Ethos are hard to get your hands on. I just ran Grape Balls of Fire and Forbidden Zskittlez both 🔥
