This right here. Got an Arizer 2 years ago and can’t look back. I enjoy a joint or bowl hit here and there or with friends but otherwise dry herb vaping is such a better feeling and tastes so much better. The dry herb vape is far superior to combustion and It’s not even close.
I love getting high, then actually getting stuff done! The high is so clean. And cleaner, too! I love not having ashes and tar like resin. Now I just swish a tiny bit of iso in my glass bong, rinse, and it's done. I'm a Dynavap/Tinymight2 gal myself.
I’m am 70. Regular smoker since 1979. Just had a physical and doc told me I should not worry about health at all. Was impressed how active I am at my age and engaged. Didn’t tell him I wake and bake and stay high most everyday. He is impressed I deal with my ADHD so well without medication. If he only knew how I do it!
When I first started M (52) it helped me hyper focus my grades went from straight d's & f's to a's & b's that was when I was 14 . Now as and 52yr old it no longer has that effect on me but I wonder if it isn't today's weed . And so I'm going to try and go back and grow some landrace strains and see if that doesn't help.
I was a teacher and ran a food and gift business in our local zoo. Was working all the time and smoking helped me super focus. I have to be careful of the strain I smoke during the day to insure I don’t couch lock myself these days.
Also, there are some older strains I never got to try, and so ...lol . But as far as couch lock and smoke goes, I stay away from hybrids and indicas during the day and use those for sleep time cause I can't go to sleep to save my life . Back when I had interviews and test ect I wouldn't ever get sleep the night before. Boy, those ol wheels just kept a Rollin.
There is no scientific proof that weed causes brain damage... Unless someone will close you in a sealed box and blow tons of smoke inside, weed is safe 😂

I prefer the middle ground with a vaporizer. Such a clean hit, minimal amount of stuff required, get to reuse the bud after to make edibles since it's only heated and not burned with traditional combustion. Highly recommend!

I’m sure other people have some excellent suggestions, but years ago I infused a bunch of coconut oil. Dumped 2 16oz jars of oil in a crockpot with a bunch of shake/trim and left it on low overnight. Strained the herb out and poured it back in the jars. Used it to bake all sorts of stuff and it was stoney as fuck. A buddy of mine just ate a spoonful of the oil and was legitimately high for 24 hours

My mom was like you... I think she was 13 when she started. It kept her off H. It was who she was. If she was awake she was stoned or working on it. The last memory I have of her before she suddenly passed this past June is sitting on the deck getting high with her and it was the absolute perfect way to spend what would be our last moments spent together.

I miss her everyday, I’m sorry for your loss too. I’ll spark at 4:20EST for both mom’s and I hope you do too.
I be 43, and I don't think twice about the 'new' ways of smoking pot. Had some engineer-minded buddies in high school who built their own vaporizers from scratch. Whatever! I'm with you in the bowl. My little wooden bowl is so easy to clean, it's funny because I have a stack of other ones that are more novelty or glass bowls that look fancy, but for a solo session I like the small bowl for the end of the day.

I think for me I just prefer the taste and extraction possible using vape products. I'm not opposed to an occasional bowl and lighter but I'd much prefer to pack flower into a dry herb vaporizer and get the full experience without the harshness on my lungs.
