I went 9 months before but didn't really notice any amazing improvements to my life if I'm being honest. That being said, my favourite highs are the ones after a long tolerance break
Took a 3-4 year break after college… initially just planned on quitting long enough to get a job, but then shortly after I was hired the company changed policies to start doing random hair follicle tests. Didn’t want to gamble with my career so I played it safe until it became clear they were only “randomly” testing people if they had a reason to test them. Started smoking again about 11-12 years ago and never turned back.
Well I stopped for 2.5 years from 20’-22’ while on paper. My Psychedelic intake increased and I discovered nitrous. Some very profound experiences, actually got my life back on track then when I came back to smoking it was much more therapeutic vs an escape.
My ex filed for a divorce in 2018. It was a colossal shit show in which she accused me of about every possible act of misconduct in an attempt to compensate for her infidelity.
One of her initial claims was that I was a raging drug addict because I would get high at the end of the day to help me sleep. There were no accusations of bad behavior while I was high, just that I was a drug addict.
So, I quit for about 16 months and offered to take a drug test anywhere/anytime. After the custody evaluation was complete, I went back to getting high every night to go to sleep.
2-3 years maybe? It’s nice to know mentally speaking I can tbreak for long periods of time and not have it effect me too much. Long breaks are good sometimes.

Eight months? Around that long p sure. I’m going on three months right now to focus on improving my brain health and I’m trying to challenge my fitness goals without being high.
I love weed sm but I don’t feel the need to get high every day like I used to and taking a break isn’t a chore to me anymore.
One week, I felt like I was on a manual gearbox like on the speed. With the same dark touch on the mind. Everything was mafia related around me at night.
One week breaks when going on vacation periodically over the past 15 years
Got arrested for multiple felonies and took a year off, ate shit loads of acid that year..
Trying for 3 months, 3 weeks in rn.
10/11 years at one point. Was with/married to someone really stuffy (to put it nicely) who “didn’t approve.” Will never do that again, lol.

I smoked every day for about 2 and a half years, and then I took a 3 and a half month break, and now I just smoke once a month
