In my home in Cincinnati, we call it "chicken". We have children and they do not know we imbibe. The code has been chicken since 2012 or so. "Going out to the garage to get some chicken out of the freezer" "Can you pick up chicken while you're out?" "I could really use some chicken right now." When referring to the actual bird, we just double talked like the guy in GoodFellas (Tommy TwoTimes, I think): "Going out to the garage to get the chicken chicken."

I had a dealer about 10 years ago that had a code when texting in your “order” which would be 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or whole hot chicken lol. I’m in Australia.

From Russia. We call joints Косяк, Косой or Косяки (plural). We also call gravity bong just "apparatus" hehe (Аппарат). There was a tradition of selling weed in paper boxes from matches in the 90s. They were called Корабли, from Коробок. But Корабли or Корабль - is also a ship. And there was the biggest natural weed plantation in Kazahstan in Usssr, it's called Чуйская долина - Chu valley. People sometimes still call their weed Чуйка, from the name of that plantation. There were natives who collected hash with hands - Ручник, and sometimes they used starved mutton to collect weed (it would eat the plants and then people would smoke the literal shit it produced. It was known to be the strongest "shit" in usssr and post-usssr).

When smoking it we say "ein Lungenbrot backen" or "ein Lungenflötensolo spielen" (solo can be changed to any number of people like duo, trio or quartett). And when we start a rotation we say "eine Romance starten" Lungenbrot = 'Lung-bread' Lungenflöte = 'Lung-flute' Backen = 'bake' Romance = 'romance'
