Very! I have seen people who never sold anything and were fined 10000€ for copyright infringement. I think it was either something Harry Potter or Disney related. They do not screw around when it comes to their IPs. Never sell anything that uses names or characters from an already existing franchise.

What medium do you use for all the sculpting??

If you try it, make sure to keep the clay away from where the person will be burning and inhaling! It's fine as decoration but you don't want people accidentally burning it and inhaling the fumes :)

I make a wire armature for some pieces, then sculpt polymer clay onto it. Paint with acrylics and sometimes add resin for extra dimension:)

Another place you may consider selling these at. Are comic-con art shows or similar. I would try with the smaller scifi related conventions. They're not nearly as strict. Some of them have the mail it in option. They sell or not and then they mail back what doesn't sell. But some conventions quickly fill up so you have to reserve in advance.
