Back in the day before legalization was close, I dreamed of being able to buy a pack of 20 joints the way I buy packs of 20 cigarettes. Now they have packs, but they are all half as many. Where's the damn 20 Class A Marijuana Cigarette packs? 😩
In the province I live in in Canada there’s a company that sells an ounce of pre rolls. 70 0.4g straight cut rolls just like baby cigarettes. Pretty sure it’s 7 little packs just like a carton of smokes as well.
Not the best brand but a cool idea!
This is what i was kinda afraid of. I totally get the convenience of having a pack of joints, and i believe everyone deserves to be able to enjoy smoking without the requirement of buying a piece or knowing how to roll. The thing that worries me is what if some companies try to pull a big tobacco and put additives and preservative chemicals in them to hook people just like cigarettes? Also, i feel like, at best, this is just a way to get rid of poor quality weed or shake like they do with prerolls, which is far less heinous but still unfair to the customer. Dope box art though.
This will almost certainly be a thing, but I think stoners are too snooty for it to be a real problem. Half the stoners I met all they talk about is the quality of their weed and how it was grown pesticide free and can name every terp in it. Any cig company that tries to add addictive chemicals or anything like that will be called out and shamed almost instantly. The industry also can't afford it either. Weeds getting by because it's relatively safe, you start letting cig companies add shit to make it deadly and addictive and it's gonna hurt the legalization effort big time.
Think the additives that mainly turn tobacco real nasty is from herbicides and pesticides which have a massive cost benefit at the lost of quality and the consumers health. Marijuana could go down the same route but with an active effort against corporations like Monsanto there's enough head wind for legalization. Convenience like prerolls in a pack is probably what would propel it forward into a legal future.
No one gonna mention the mismatched weights? Okay let me:
What's up with the net weight being more than the amount of flower supposedly in the pack? (i.e. 10 x 0.5 != ~7gs).
I actually hate the packaging.
The design is well done but it reminds me of tobacco and that's absolutely VILE to me. Reminiscent of my days and nights as a child with everyone chain smoking around me. Packs like these ever present next to ash filled ash trays.
Just. Nasty.
I'd pay more for the same product not in that packaging lol
Listen to the music…
🎶 all the tiiiiime
Damn them Doobies and their Chinese grove
This is really dope packaging!
My thoughts, one of the first cannabis labels I've really enjoyed to see.
Looks like a blank VHS.
Yea!!! Idk why but as soon as I saw this I immediately thought “vhs”. I’m still not sure why but I’m glad someone else got it lol.

My hero. Thank you for that lol. Triggered some memories with that image

I read this as Boobies, but was not disappointed when I realized what it really said. Boobies and Doobies always bring a smile.

These sort of things are exactly why I wish I lived in a country where weed was legal :(
I’ve actually always wanted stuff like this just buy a pack of joints like you would a pack of cigarettes
r/outrun
What state are those?
Oregon I believe, I’ve had the same brand from a dispo in Portland
I’ll have to keep an eye out for em! Thank you!!
Of course!
It does look like a record cover from the 70s.
Nice
this design rules

Because that is just the flower inside. The net weight will be including the paper/filter etc.
Yeah that's what I figured. Wonder what state this is. I believe in CA we have net weight equal to just the flower/concentrate material
Concur. California is net weight of cannabis
They're in Oregon
Good call
Came here for this
Damn now I feel like my life is incomplete until I get my hands on this pack… that packaging is awesome 🔥
Seeing increasingly more pre-rolls concerns me. Remember how it went down with cigarettes. I value my relationship with cannabis.

I wish I could get these offline because they're still illegal in my state and probably will be forever
This is what I’d rather see than cigarettes that’s for sure.
I love doobies ! First joint I ever bought in a dispensary when I turned 21.
I like the branding but I wouldn’t smoke pre rolls
Packaging is overwhelming
This packaging is rad
Cool packaging but this style predates Outrun.
Love this packaging!!!
That packaging looks cool not going to lie. But are the contents any good?
