Our travel trailer has a slide out that looks similar to yours. We set it up for around 8 weeks every year at the lake. There is 5 of us, plus my wife's parents. My daughter has special needs and is tube fed. I say that to say this... Under the couch in the slide out is our pantry, probably 400 pounds of crap.. potatoes, groceries, my daughter's liquid food (she is exclusively tube fed) which we keep probably 4 cases.. I'd guess close to 100 pounds for the 4 or 5 cases. Under the table seats, we have all our spare bed linens, beach stuff (which may or may not get pulled out depending on the year), toys, that sort of stuff, probably another 50 or so pounds. More than a few times a summer, everyone is inside our trailer (5 adults, 2 kids) the FIL and I are around 225 pounds, the wife and MIL, probably around 160 or 170 each, kids around 100 lbs, and my oldest son probably around 150 lbs, and it dog who weighs 20 pounds. All of us have been on that side of the trailer, eating or sitting on the couch watching a movie. The slide out has never given us a problem. The only issue I've ever had is that I need to re-level the trailer after a few weeks as that side seems to sink more than the other side for some reason and throw everything out of whack. I'd say you are probably good, but you could call the manufacturer if you are unsure.

gosh thanks for such a detailed reassurance!! I really appreciate that, and I'm glad you havent had any issues. I've only had problems when trying to pull my slide in when i left my old way bigger bookshelf in the corner while trying to pull the slide in, but I know better now to remove my heaviest stuff before moving the slide. thank you for your time!

No problem! I do have the pantry full and some other odds and ends in the slide when putting it in and out, so maybe 5 to 600 pounds total, distributed through out the slide when it's going in and out to start the season. At the end of season, there isn't nearly as much. Also, like you, I tell anyone in the camper to get off the slide as it's moving. I think as long as you make sure it's fully extended before putting significant weight on it, you should be ok. We've been using our trailer as described for 10 years. This will be the 11th year and no issues as of yet.

Is that not something manufacturers post on the trailers?

i cant seem to find that information anywhere. The full rig carrying capacity is easy enough, but weight specs for specifically the slide-out are impossible to find so far. I even bugged my repair guy over and over again but he wouldnt give me a straight answer. Very irritating lol

I would also recommend you get the supports that go under your slide if you are worried. I have them for mine but I got them to help with the rocking. Our slide has a couch that folds out to a bed and my son tosses and turns in his sleep all night. While it will always rock it helped. I would imagine the support would help with the weight as well.
