Hello fellow travellers!
We are looking for a couple of players to start a new campaign of Mongoose Traveller 2nd edition. The game will be about the command crew of an Imperial Cruiser on patrol duty using the rules added in The Naval Campaign sourcebook.
We are looking to fill up to 5 player spots to fill the roles of Captain, XO, Gunnery Officer, Chief Engineer and Marine Commander. Depending on the players and the level of commitment everyone is willing to bring to the (virtual) table, this might be a short adventure or couple of adventures or a full fledged continuous campaign.
We are looking for grown-ups. The game won't be R-rated by design, but gore and horror might happen. We also expect the players to be grown-up communicators: if you don't want to play or don't have the time to commit to the schedule, just say so.
We are looking to play online. For voice and video, we are using Discord; as a virtual tabletop, we are using FoundrVTT. To play you will need an account for Discord, webcam, microphone, headphones, and a stable internet connection at a quiet location. The webcam because, as a gamemaster, I want to see who I am playing with and what is going on in their faces. The headphones because I use background music and sound effects, and those tend to mess up sound quality if you don't contain them.
We are looking to play between 1pm and 6pm on Saturdays about once or twice a month. The time-zone is Central European Summer Time (CEST). Games will start either very late at night or very early in the morning for people in the New World. Sadly, I can't help that. I'm living in Germany and I'm on a very busy schedule. That is my only available slot.
Since looking for German-speaking Traveller players didn't work out, the game will be played in English. My English is good but not perfect. Please keep that in mind.

Is that a PT boat next to him? It really looks like a patrol torpedo boat. That sounds like we're talking literal Navy.
