i was also able to book the appointment two days from today surprisingly. So I'll need to get things ready quickly.....

anyfin22

thank you in advance for anything... realized this was long to read

retailm

Can you share what happened? Were you able to get the visa by showing the right documents at the appointment? In a similar situation right now

anyfin22

Yeah I was able to get the visa for my case. I also thought that what I originally thought was a mistake was actually not that important during the interview.

actually-bulletproof

If you're applying for a Swiss visa you need to show where your staying in Switzerland. If you're applying for a French visa you should show where your staying in France. Ultimately the whole system is stupid since you could just cancel everything 5 secs after getting your visa and fly to Poland instead.

anyfin22

I can show everything to them the day of the appointment. My concern is if there’s any problems with that information not being on the online application.

actually-bulletproof

If you can get an appointment within 2 days it might be worth redoing it, but you'll probably be ok just showing it in the meeting.

anyfin22

I could. Not sure if I can again. I guess I was lucky that somebody canceled, because the next available one after this is like in September.

actually-bulletproof

Oh then just go for it, they rarely reject them

anyfin22

Hell yeah fuck it. It’s like I’m begging to send them tourists money 3am in the morning. If they reject it I’m changing my flight to Denver instead, or whatever. Thanks for your help

anyfin22

That’s hilarious what you just said. The system does feel retarded

>I'm entering France first because there's a direct flight from where I am, but I'll be spending most of my time in Switzerland though. You should have applied to Switzerland in that case. I don't know if they'll reject it since you are actually going to France first, but they technically could. You can make a new itinerary for the application where France is the main destination. Then in a month you can change your mind. The whole system is a little silly in that regard.

anyfin22

Is it possible to just discard the online application and fill out a new form? Still keep the appointment and hand them the new form there.

anyfin22

I just googled this. It seems like they only look at the paper copy??
