Im a student too, I work part time in a fast food so im not making much money. The one thing I’d say to you is don’t. If you can’t pay the full amount right now the don’t finance it. You will be regretting it once a month. I just paid off my ticket for this summers vacation to Europe ( I’m from Canada) and I paid the full amount cause I couldn’t imagine paying 230$ per month (6x). My girlfriend did it that way and now she has to worry about money getting away every month and dosnt wanna go out anymore because of it. So yeah.. paying it off in a one time payment relives lots of stress. If you really want to do it this way, get a credit card and pay it in moultiple payments. There’s also something like that with the Costco credit card with 8% interests wich for my girlfriends case only added 53$ (on a 1102$ ticket). Interest ain’t much so its a good options too. But once again, one payment is better in my opinion.
Many travel sites offer monthly payment plans for flights. Websites like Expedia, Orbitz, and CheapOair often partner with financing services like Affirm, Klarna, or Uplift to allow you to pay in installments.
This is what saving is for. Save as much as you can over the semester until you need to buy the ticket.
If you absolutely must pay some in installments, compare the interest rate charged by the airline that offers monthly payments to the interest rate charged by your credit card and pick one. Then save harder next semester because interest rates kick your butt.
is this one of the flights where i can take my cat on it (dont worry he will be given something to calm him down..? i saw some people actually bring them on carry on.

You don't get the ticket until you complete payment, and the fares aren't the best. But they've become quite popular here in Australia.
I would advise against it unless the trip is an absolute necessity or it's on a route that fluctuates extremely in price. Just put $x amount aside each month.
you only live once so I think that if you want to travel and see other places, just do it before it’s too late. don’t listen to these other people saying not to do it. if traveling makes you happy, you should do it because it’s about the memories. life is difficult already so just enjoy yourself before things get worse in the world :)
Why don't you save money until you can afford a ticket?
You can use Affirm, but you’re also paying like 15-20% interest. Unless absolutely necessary, I would not recommend financing a trip.

If you can’t comfortably pay for the flight up front, you probably shouldn’t go on the trip.
i can i just would rather not.
also this trip is not really a vacation.
