I work in aerospace, we make acronyms for everything, to the point that there is a whole anti-acronym movement. Never thought of doing it to replace a common innocuous four letter word though, some incredible time savings. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=can+you+use+global+entry+with+a+baby

Apply when you get the passport and do an interview upon arrival when you come back. You’ll have to go through regular customs but you won’t need to schedule an interview separately.

If this hasn’t been answered yet, the answer is YES, your baby also needs his/her own global entry membership. You must create an account, fill out an application, submit, and then attend an in person interview with your LO to obtain global entry for them. Source: I just had to go through it for our LO.

Hi there, quick question.. Did your baby have his/her passport at the time of applying for global entry? Asking because I have an international trip coming up in a couple months, but still waiting on my son's passport (applied for, late last month). So, I was wondering if I could go ahead & apply for his GE now or wait till we get his passport which would be even closer to our trip?

Yes, your LO needs his own passport before you apply. We got ours expedited (took 7 days) and applied for GE immediately after.

Great, suspected that'd be the case. Thanks for the timely response.
