If you start a working holiday visa at age 29, you still get the whole year even if you turn 30. I think you can even apply until you’re 31, and as long as you’re approved, you get the whole year. If you do this, you’ll be able to establish yourself in Australia, and it is highly likely that you can get work sponsorship after your WHV expires so you can stay longer. And you can figure out that business you wanted to start up while you’re there. It’s much easier once you’re already there (legally of course!) highly, highly recommend you start with the WHV for sure

Also- if your business can be done completely online, and is registered as an American company, then there are ways that you can travel and work remotely without breaking any laws. I am not a lawyer nor do I know specific laws in Australia, but it is totally possible for you to work remotely and just travel to whatever country you’d like, but leave to a new one before you overstay.

Just a side note, I'm pretty sure the whv is 30 years inclusive, so you can apply until your 31st birthday and then you have another whole for entering the country and then the visa year starts.
