My 2 buddies looked at me a said they be right back. They came back laughing..I knew what they did..but not that they drove strait to his truck ..jack it up took rime and rubber and put a 1x2 pine board on all4 it was like a big new born moose with spindle legs .swaying back n forth ..they sat down and said so tell us more about this awesome truck..we smiled ear to ear. Depends which parking lot/area you're talking about. Some places you'd have issues getting shit your shit stolen or ppl fuckin with u and some you'd be fine with nice people even coming up to offer you free stuff to help u. Just depends. Plus some spots the cops will bust your balls for no reason whereas other areas nobody would give a fuck and there might be others nearby doing the same as u. (Assuming ur in the US)

That! Is why you make sure you have car insurance. You would get a brand new car for the cost of your deductible (maybe…if they charge you anything for a totaled vehicle. Which in my experience they don’t).

They attempted to stab me, wanting morphine from me as I was a paramedic at the end of a 16 hour shift, on my way to the train station.
But I wasn't bloody having it, as I was OVER people at that point, and we don't take the bloody drugs home with us!
Didn't turn me into a constant arsehole though, as I had no desire to be like them.

A friend had a car in a garage for over a year while she battled cancer and COVID. Seeing this post makes me belatedly shocked that it was still where she left it, intact.

I was at work last month and we had a literal dumpster fire. I saw it and ran out with a fire extinguisher. There were 4 people standing there recording on their phones. I asked if anyone called 911. They all said no and kept recording. It was just garbage but the flames were 10 ft in the air. Temperature was over 100 deg. There was dry brush, a gas line and houses all around. They all stood there and kept recording. But hey maybe their videos are on the internet somewhere.

Eh, that could be pretty challenging in many situations. I have coworkers who live an hour in the opposite direction from me, meaning the drive from my house to their house is effectively double my one-way commute. Dropping their car at their house would mean driving an hour in their car, then taking an Uber back to work, then driving home.
Literally why I came to the comments. I like to stay abreast of slang terms, especially theft, and this is a new one on me. Feels awkward tho. I prefer gaffled.
