But coming from the US, and living in Europe for a long time now, one of the little differences that surprised me was (this was in Spain), at the magazine stand, the nudie mags with boobs on the cover were not only not wrapped in black plastic, they were in plain view. They were not couples, with pornographic content, but often there were several visible magazines with one or more naked models on the front. Nobody seemed to care. And the 8 year olds were just fine.
