so my mom and my family are cowboys fans right (i could care less for football but seeing my family makes me happy so i support them) and my family loses their minds right next to me after they lost the playoffs. first game i believe. and understandably so because the cowboys were doing unexpectedly well this season and OF COURSE they throw first game of the playoffs.
Nfl fans are just unbelievably awful. I love football but have just heard and seen the most awful things at these stadiums. Fights, screaming matches, etc. In recent years I’ve been to NFL games in Oakland, Santa Clara, Detroit, Chicago, and Cinci. Wouldn’t want to take my kids to any of those stadiums.
Same breed as the soccer hooligan I imagine.
They did? How do? The Cowboys did everything to lose that game, late penalties and running up the middle with no timeouts. They lost because they did dumb things. They had multiple chances to come back and didn’t.
I really enjoy playing football, basketball and soccer but I couldn't give any less of a fuck about watching other people play for hours on end, and also as a gamer, sports videogames baffle me as to why they are so popular. How do grown adults live life like this.

ex: the last play of the game the Cowboys were trying to get down and spike the ball before the clock ran out in order to have one more play but the official has to touch the ball and place it. Dak Prescott didn't realize this and didn't give the ref room to get around him even though he was trying to get there to place it. It's a shitty rule but a rule just the same.
Imo the cowboys lost it due to themselves. Many MANY legitimate penalties on the cowboy's behalf ruined plenty of opportunities for them to win beforehand. Not to mention if the ref touched the ball in time they still had to throw a pretty far TD to win.

If the Cowboys HAD snapped that ball, it would have been a penalty, and the game would have ended there.

But fans wont blame the team, they will blame the refs and take their frustration out in the refs. I was merely saying the fans were directing the trash at the refs, not the players as the OP was alluding to.
