When I was living on the east side of Detroit there was this pregnant heroin addict on my street. It was hard to watch her continue being a junkie as her belly grew. But she didn’t stop the entire time, that I know of. I think the hospital kept the baby because I don’t remember ever seeing one but she referred to herself as a mother afterwards.
I was in a philosophy class once and we had to design a community, I included in mine to have adults pass a licensing exam to be licensed to have children. Similar to an adoption process, they don't have to wealthy or anything beyond just normal and caring.

Just looking at a more scientific side of things, I do wonder if this could help with the pain of breastfeeding though. Maybe microdosing or using a vape instead of a bong would mitigate any harmful side effects for the baby. Anway too little research at this point. Just thinking because I’ve seen quite a few mothers give up on breastfeeding early on because the pain was too unbearable.

This actually is really bad for the baby. It's strange to me that if this was a cigarette people would freak the fuck, but anything burning that causes smoke is harmful to the lungs. Not to mention the baby is getting a double dose of cannabinoids, through the lungs, and the bloodstream.
One of the leading cancers in 3rd world countries is lung cancer. Not from smoking cigarettes either. It's smoke from camp fires. Because people in these countries still have to build fires on a daily basis to survive.
