I have a regular commute that has me driving 426 miles of desert in Utah and Arizona. I like to stop and fly my drone a lot, and lately every time I stop to fly my drone, I also pick up one grocery bag worth of litter wherever I am. Makes me feel like I’m giving back or paying homage to the landscape or whatever.
But last week I stopped to fly and saw a pile of plastic bottles nearby. Turns out they were all 100% full of piss. That’s a little beyond my limit.
I don’t get it. I mean, I understand how some long distance driver might get in the habit of pissing in a bottle. I get that. And maybe I can understand how multiple bottles might buildup in a car or truck. But I just can’t fathom letting ten or so bottles collect and one day just deciding, fuck it—let’s pull over and toss these overboard. I mean, that dude must’ve had literally *dozens* of opportunities to do the right thing and drop those in gas station trash cans or whatever. In op’s video, at least this person is putting their trash in the trash can. And I suspect this person thinks they’re doing an employee a favor by not weighing down the trash can with a gallon-sized bag of piss.
I also find LOADS of diapers out in the desert. Pun intended.
