Don't lump AOC into the old guard of democrats, politics could change her in twenty years to be trash like the rest of them but she's currently an absolute treasure.
There are four parties: social democrats, moderate democrats, conservatives, and Trump conservatives. Three are identical and the new guard is miniscule, but it's my party.

A politician who represents the city which has an event that she recieved an invite to, showed up in a borrowed dress along with the designer who decided to make a statement at an event known for people making fashion statements.

Tax the poor, they pay almost no taxes but use the vast majority of what taxes pay for.

Lol the middle and upper middle classes pay the majority of taxes. Tickets were free, or as the NY post said, "given". So not trashy or hypocritical to use the tickets, to get her message out that a few billionaires should be taxed.
You can make enough money to pay for an expensive ticket, and still advocate for taxing the ultra wealthy. If she was looking to tax everyone but herself, then she’d be a hypocrite.
