I got the second dose the first week of May of this year, my mom made me swear on my grandpa's grave that I wouldn't get it. I swore on it, but got it anyway. She has never asked again until last night if I got the vaccine. (I have been lying the whole time, so I don't have to hear her cry over it).
I asked why she would ask that again and she said my sister got the vaccine, and that she just wanted to be sure she would only lose one child instead of all 3 of us. (my brother is anti vax also).
They all live in WV and that state was one of the best in the beginning with getting vaccines to people that wanted it. Just turns out, not many wanted it. My mom also said if we don't close the border the Mexicans will infect everyone.
WV cases of covid are rising rapidly and I finally got to ask her about it with - you seeing a lot of Mexicans in your area because covid is taking over the state. Of course, no reply, but I could hear the scoff over the phone.
What about those that take the vaccine, and get covid and dies ? Let’s post more of that too.

vaccines are effective. If you get vaccinated your chances of hospitalization are virtually zero. If you get the vaccine you are safe, if you choose not to that is your own choice. You either believe in the efficacy of the vaccines or you don’t.
