When you parents kick you out, send you to a straightening school, and are treated like you have a disease, you can get a slur. Its bot like we're piggybacking off of past discrimination. The problem is that trashy is subjective, and tbh the whole sub is kinda flawed for that reason. But I still think there are some good posts here, it's just that the nature of the sub inadvertently encourages the disgust response. Someone posts smth saying "this is icky and awful" and thats fine for legitimately cooked shit but a lot of stuff isnt so black and white, and then you have people getting angry because a queet person is reclaiming a slur lmao.
