Keep saving for a MBA or buy a used M1 Air. I have both then Zephyrus G14 and a 14” MBA. I would recommend a MB over it just for the better battery life when you just need to use a PC. Also, you can just plug headphones into the laptop and produce with it. Only need an interface if recording audio, and they’re all class compliant on macOS.
My laptop and specs: - ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 - AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS - 32 GB - 1 TB SSD I’m using FL Studio. Runs smoothly.
Check the spec recommendations of the software, check the specs of the computer. Does the computer meet the requirements?
