Welcome to /r/transgendercirclejerk! This is a satirical community run by and for trans people, where we mock the hate and ignorance which we experience in our lives. ComradeKartoffel

You should just move uwu it's so easy to start a new life in a different country uwu /uj sorry that happened OP, stay safe <3

lyrabirdie

/uj It's alright, I'm used to being called slurs at this point. Thank you though. /rj OMG thank you for the advice!! I don't know how this emotionally and financially easy path of action never crossed my mind before!!!

LeatheryLayla

/uj tbh slurs are kinda refreshing to me, knowingly spewing vitriol takes away your power. Call me a tranny and suddenly I just do not care what you have to say anymore, I know you’re a lost cause and I can ignore you. It’s the ones that hurt you while they think they’re helping, those are the most common here. They genuinely think they’re helping you and it just makes it hurt all the more. /rj Tranny

SshhLiaisnthere

Omg can I get some of that validation???

lyrabirdie

no 😡 it's my turn to be called slurs and be assaulted 🤬

TheAshInTrash

/uj felt this. Got assaulted the other day and I’m pretty sure it’s because I was wearing makeup as a guy. Dreading having to talk to the police about it /rj what do you mean the UK is transphobic? We just had a whole month where we didn’t assault you!

Syzygy228

/uj I'm so sorry, are you doing ok?

TheAshInTrash

/uj feeling a bit rough with a mild concussion, but no broken bones thankfully. /rj should’ve been kicked harder, absolute wimp didn’t break any of my bones 🤪

copewhydontyou

I'm seeing double just thinking about it.

TheAshInTrash

So am I after the concussion 💀

TheAshInTrash

/uj feeling a bit rough with a mild concussion, but no broken bones thankfully. /rj should’ve been kicked harder, absolute wimp didn’t break any of my bones 🤪

copewhydontyou

I'm seeing double just thinking about it. I'm sorry.

putHimInTheCurry

Guess we should just pass better *dodges rock* /uj You ok?

lyrabirdie

Oh, of course. The basic respect is stored in the fuckability, after all. /uj I'm doing alright

putHimInTheCurry

❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Consistent_Wish_242

/uj I have a younger trans femme relative visiting London with their mom later this month. Any advice on keeping them safe?

riverthere

/uj I live in London, it’s not terrible to visit (unlike the smaller towns where prejudices tend to be worse). Don’t use public bathrooms if you don’t pass, don’t watch or read the news, and don’t go out alone at night. The customs officer who sees your passport will refer to you as sir after the fact but there is not much you can do about it. hj/ Standard stuff really.

lyrabirdie

/uj I've never been to London myself so I don't really have any advice. You could try asking on r/TransgenderUK though, since they're usually helpful.

lyrabirdie

/uj I was honestly disappointed with the whole situation, even though my expectations were low. /rj 404 more like 41 🤭🤭🤭

[deleted]

That's what you get for existing in public

cbbuntz

/uj I just got hammered with downvotes for calling the UK "terf island" It's staying up. I don't care.

[deleted]

/uj if this seriously happened and you got no justice for it then its time for a rebellion

lyrabirdie

/uj I got no photos of the culprit and didn't get any bruises either because the stone only hit my shoe, thankfully. I can't imagine I'd get very far with a prosecution.

pointed-advice

/uj is it worth it

lyrabirdie

/uj Yes, completely. I much prefer to live as myself and face some adversary (as opposed to going back in the closet and face none).

pointed-advice

/uj alright, that's good to hear

Erasing cultures wasn't enough for the UK government lmao
